Brock Howard serves as Vice President of Claims of Centauri Insurance.

In this role, Howard is responsible for development and management of company claims operations, including oversight of the multiple claims department units as well as the direction of catastrophe preparedness operations. As leader of the claims team, Howard is committed to the consistent delivery of an exceptional, customized experience to Centauri customers. This entails working closely with agency and other partners to make the Centauri promise of prompt, fair and accurate claims service a reality.

Prior to joining Centauri, Howard was the Florida auto field product line manager for Travelers Insurance, leading the state auto claims team. While at Travelers, Howard also served as director of operations and led Florida’s property claims team. Before joining Travelers, Howard served on Nationwide’s Florida claims leadership team as claims administrative manager. He also gained product management experience at Nationwide, serving as the standard auto product manager at the state level.

Howard began his insurance career in 1995, with a focus on casualty claims handling. His claims experience encompasses personal and commercial lines, including the management of teams handling high severity and litigated claims.

Howard is a graduate of Harvard University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history. He obtained his Associate in Claims (AIC) designation and earned the AIC Award for Academic Excellence.
