Robert “Bob” Courtemanche serves as CEO of Centauri Specialty Insurance Holdings, a division of Applied Home National Underwriters, LLC. Courtemanche maintains overall operational and strategic management responsibilities for the entire suite of Centauri companies and Applied Home National Underwriters, LLC.

Under Courtemanche’s direction, Centauri follows a strict policy of responsible underwriting and disciplined risk management, allowing it to reflect superior financial performance while growing and expanding into new markets. Courtemanche comes to Centauri after serving as CEO and Co-Founder of Thriveprotect Inc. which provides agent and broker services, underwriting and property and casualty insurance coverage.

Prior to establishing Thriveprotect Inc, Courtemanche held leadership positions at several risk management and insurance organizations, including his role as Senior Managing Director and National Private Client Practice Leader at Risk Strategies Company. During his time there, he focused on enhancing the client experience for their high-net-worth clients and delivered tailored solutions that better served their unique insurance and risk management needs. He also spent seven years as Founder, CEO, and President of Ace Private Risk Services, as well as many other prestigious companies.

Courtemanche is a graduate of Hobart College where he received a BA in English from the Wharton Executive Education Program. He is a current board member of the Private Risk Management Association.
