Paul LaPorta

Assistant Vice President of Finance

Paul LaPorta serves as Assistant Vice President of Finance at Centauri Insurance. In this role, he is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the Company while protecting and preserving the company’s assets for its policyholders. As a key member of the company’s financial department, he oversees the production of timely and consistent monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders of the Company.

LaPorta has more than 12 years of mixed industry and public accounting experience across various industries. He worked in public accounting specializing in audits of both private and public companies, working at “Big 4” accounting firms Pricewaterhouse Coopers, LLP and Deloitte & Touche, LLP. In October 2016, he was an integral part of the successful initial public offering of AquaVenture Holdings Limited Company, a company where he led and managed all the SEC reporting and compliance thereafter. LaPorta also worked at Orchid Insurance, an insurance intermediary which was subsequently purchased by Brown & Brown, Inc. While at Orchid, LaPorta helped lead the accounting and finance department and was part of the Senior Leadership Team that helped facilitate the sale transaction and related diligence. LaPorta holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Tampa as well as an active CPA license in the state of Florida.
