
Traci Stillwagon
CPCU, CIOP
Traci Stillwagon serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Centauri Insurance. In this role, she has overall responsibility for Personal and Commercial Lines Underwriting, Claims, Business Operations, Systems, and IT for the company.
Stillwagon began her career as a multi-line claims associate in Northern Virginia with Nationwide Insurance. She has broad range of experiences spanning more than 26 years with the Fortune 100 carrier. Her background includes not only claims, but also internal audit, process improvement, project management, instructional design, and technology. Her areas of expertise encompass both auto and homeowner products and services as well as personal and commercial lines. Her most recent role was leading a team of consultants responsible for end-to-end post-contract supplier performance and relationships within the P&C division of Business Transformation and Shared Services. She joined Centauri in June of 2021.
Stillwagon relocated Nationwide’s corporate headquarters in Columbus OH after several years of front-line claims handling. She transitioned to a corporate role and later returned to focus on the success of the claims organization. She was involved in advancing claims technology solutions, led Claims Training at the Columbus, OH based corporate campus and partnered with audit teams to trend and refine performance at both team and individual levels. She built and updated Best Practices for claims handling in addition to managing the Claims Customer Satisfaction survey process. She also held a variety of roles targeted at streamlining processes and/or enhancing the overall customer experience. Twenty of her 26 years at Nationwide focused on improving claims results and supported the overall success of the organization.
Stillwagon holds a BS in Physical Education from Radford University and a Master’s in Management from The American College. In addition, Stillwagon has earned her CPCU and CIOP designations and is certified in Diversity and Inclusion through Cornell University.
